1986

Established the Huanghai Electric Control Factory in Sheyang County. Mainly produces electrical products such as distribution box cabinets.

1994

The strategic goal of "becoming a small giant in the intelligent controller product industry" has been established. In the national "Eight Five" key research project "Intelligent Universal Circuit Breaker", which was jointly undertaken with Shanghai Electrical Science Research Institute and Shanghai People Electrical Factory, the core component "intelligent controller and communication interface" of the product - the intelligent controller. The company's project team's isolated research and development period involved living and eating in the "White Rabbit Building" (at No. 1032 Changning Road near Zhongshan Park).

1996

Implementation of the enterprise's talent strategy: The company invested and entrusted Nanjing University of Science and Technology to conduct targeted training for a group of 20+ college students majoring in "Mechatronics". These graduates then entered various positions within the company, laying a solid foundation of talents for the company's growth.

2000

The company implemented the millennium development strategy and established Suzhou Intelligent Switch Co., Ltd. (the factory is located in Pingsi Road, Suzhou Machine Tool Electrical Factory), starting to produce frame circuit breakers and plastic housing circuit breakers. In the same year, the Shiyang Huanghai Electrical Control Factory was renamed as Yancheng Shiyeh Intelligent Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd.

2001

The Suzhou Intelligent Distribution Automation Co., Ltd. was established (at No. 19 Dongxing Road, Suzhou Industrial Park). The production of intelligent controllers for circuit breakers and intelligent controllers for electric motors was moved from Yancheng to Suzhou. The company's core teams in technology and marketing also moved to Suzhou simultaneously. This marked the beginning of the company's business focus shifting from northern Jiangsu (Yancheng) to southern Jiangsu (Suzhou). 

2003

In Shanghai, the Shanghai Leiyue Automation Equipment Co., Ltd. was established (at No. 18 Tongpu Road, Putuo District, Shanghai). The business of intelligent controllers for circuit breakers was relocated to Shanghai, and the company began to operate externally under the name "Shanghai Leiyue".

2005

The company relocated to the Donghong Road factory area (Nos. 41 and 43, Donghong, Suzhou Industrial Park), and established the Suzhou Wanlong Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as Wanlong Group), marking the beginning of the company's new journey towards group-based, standardized and large-scale operations.

2007

We have fully acquired Shanghai Xinlian DC Electrical Appliance Co., Ltd. By leveraging our company's technological and resource advantages, we have carried out research and development, as well as process improvement for the original DC electrical appliances. Since then, the company has entered the DC electrical appliances business field.

2008

The implementation of shareholding reform and the establishment of Suzhou Wanlong Electrical Group Co., Ltd., commonly known as "Wanlong Electrical", marked a new stage for the company's transition from group operation and standardized management to group operation, standardized management, and capitalization operation.

2010

Wanlong Electric has been approved as "Jiangsu Province Enterprise Technology Center" and "Jiangsu Province Engineering Technology Research Center for Medium and Low Voltage Distribution and Utilization Automation Equipment"

2012
